Mr. Quiroga has more than 40 years of experience in the consulting engineering field. He received his engineering degree from Hogere Technische School in the Netherlands. He is originally from Bolivia, South America, where he spent 14 years as a partner in a Bolivian consulting engineering firm. He spent 10 years working in the United States for consulting engineering firms before opening Quiroga-Pfeiffer Engineering Corporation in 1996.
He is a senior principal engineer experienced in planning, design, and management of bridge and hydraulic structure projects from the feasibility stage through final design. Mr. Quiroga is experienced in structural analysis, structural seismic retrofit techniques, prestressed and conventional reinforced concrete design, and steel/wood structure design. He also has extensive experience in water resources projects; planning, design, and preparation of construction contract documents for irrigation and hydroelectric projects in the United States, South America, and Africa.
